Newsletter: Who says it can’t be done? Parliament passed another bill!
The Senate has passed a restriction on shady legislative riders. The bill has been swept off the table four times since 2009. But shortly after the previous elections we urged lawmakers to immediately table the motion again. They agreed and the full house passed the bill in September. The Senate confirmed it on Thursday 23 October. Congratulations to MPs, Senators and all those who don’t lose interest in the Reconstruction bills!
